Terms

The rules for using Tipster, a free football prediction game run by Tommy. By creating an account you agree to them and to how Tipster uses your data. Last changed 26 October 2026.

Playing

• Tipster is for people aged 18 or over.
• It's free. There's no betting, nothing is staked, and there are no prizes. The odds are shown for fun and to work out bonus points; Tipster isn't a bookmaker and doesn't take bets.
• One account each. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what's done with your account.
• The scoring is on How Tipster works. It may change between gameweeks; a change is announced in the app first.

Being decent

• Pick a nickname and league names you'd be happy for anyone to see: nothing offensive, nothing pretending to be someone else.
• Don't cheat: no extra accounts, no robots, no getting round the limits.
• Feedback is welcome. Don't send anything unlawful or anyone else's personal details.
• If something breaks these rules, an admin may rename a nickname or league, or suspend an account, and note why.

Scores and odds

Fixtures, scores and odds come from outside services and are sometimes late or wrong. When a result is corrected, the points are worked out again. Tipster is provided as it is: Tommy works to keep it running and your data safe, but can't promise it will never be down or wrong.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time, from the bottom of the privacy page. An account that breaks these rules may be suspended; ask and you'll be told why. Tipster may close one day; you'd be told first.
