The Big Call on top of an exact score the bookies had as a long shot, at their price for that score before kickoff: 20.0 (19/1) or more is +1, 30.0 (29/1) or more is +2, 50.0 (49/1) or more is +3. It adds to the upset bonus. Premier League only for now, and only on a score the bookies priced. The Acca: predict every match of a gameweek and get every result rightPostponed matches don't count against you. Land it and your total wears a ★ in your leagues for the rest of the season.

• Acca £: every round, your predicted results make a £1 acca at the odds before each kickoff, 3 results or more (skipped and unpriced matches left out). Your Acca £ is what they'd have returned, in each league (The Acca's +50 isn't in it). The top 10 in each league on Acca £ get points on their total, live: they move as accas land.Your 4-leg acca at 2.10 × 1.80 × 3.25 × 1.50 lands: £18.43 on your Acca £. Top Acca £ in your league: +20 points.
• The bonus: 1st +20, 2nd +18, 3rd +16 … 10th +2. £0 gets nothing.Level on points? Fewer predictions ranks higher, then more Acca £.

• Your code: Tipster's invite-only for now. Every player has a code that lets 50 mates in: Invite a mate, in the account menu.
• The bonus: +1 for every 5 mates who join with your code, in your private leagues' tables.A mate counts once they've predicted 3 matches that have kicked off. Not in global leagues, and The Brace doesn't double it.

Back yourself on the games you're sure of, hedge the ones you're not. One per match, on a match you've predicted.

Each league picks its own when it's made; its creator can change them later. To skip a match on purpose, tap Skip on its row in Predict; in an Every game counts league, play The Pass on it there.

• Skips allowed: the default: a match you don't predict scores 0.Not predicted: 0

Power-downs, in leagues that turn them on: book a mate on one of their matches from Predict's tray. Nobody else knows until it kicks off; then the league sees it. A card only counts in the league it's played from, after the mate's own power-up (The Brace doubles what's left), and never takes a score below what it was (0 or minus points stay as they are). One yellow or red a gameweek, plus the flag; the halves start again on 1 January and 1 July.

• Yellow card: halves a mate's points on that match, rounded down. 3 each half season. At most one yellow or red a gameweek.Say 2–1, it ends 2–1: 2 instead of 5

The Premier League, the Championship, the Champions League, La Liga, the Bundesliga and Serie A, each with its own coupon, power-ups and Brace. Switch between them at the top of Predict and Results.

Predict once: your predictions count in every league you're in.

• Your leagues: start one from My leagues and send its invite link. A league plays one competition or several, and its table adds them all up.
• Global leaderboards: one for each competition, open to everyone. Join them when you sign up, or later from My leagues. Your nickname and points are public on them, unless you hide your name: tick “Hide my name on global leaderboards” when you sign up, or later under Leaderboard name in the account menu, and strangers see a made-up name like “Cheeky Badger”. Mates in your own leagues still see your nickname.
• Leaving: “Leave league” is at the bottom of the league's page (“Leave this leaderboard” on a global one). Your predictions stay put: open the invite link again to rejoin, points and all (unless you were the last one in: then the league is deleted), or Join a global one again from My leagues.

The Stats tab has your hit rate by team, scoreline and kickoff slot, your £1 acca tracker, draw radar and form. Tap a mate's name on a private league's table for theirs. Finally, proof you're rubbish at Spurs games.

Turn them on from the account menu, or tick the box when you sign up. On an iPhone, add Tipster to your Home Screen first, then turn them on from the app there. Too many? Pick which kinds you get, or turn them off, under Notifications in the account menu. Other competitions put their name in the title: “Champions League Matchday 3 is open”, “Champions League: kickoff in under an hour”.

• “Gameweek 9 is open”: when a gameweek's coupon opens, with its first kickoff
• “Kickoff in under an hour”: when matches in the next hour have no prediction from you (and a nudge if you haven't played a power-up that round)
• “Gameweek 9 is done”: once its last match is over, if you predicted any of it
• “Your acca landed!”: when every leg of your £1 acca wins, once its round is over
